This project is a playful tribute to Overcooked! 2, a chaotic and hilarious cooking game that I love playing with friends. Perfect for kids and families, the game’s charm lies in its cute, simple, low-poly graphics and its wonderfully wacky gameplay.
To highlight the game’s vibrant personality, I designed the trailer package with bold pops of blue and orange, capturing its energetic and fun spirit. The animation itself is intentionally janky, embracing the game’s quirky, unpredictable nature and amplifying the sense of wild, kitchen mayhem that makes Overcooked! 2 so unforgettable.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Overcooked! 2 is its wide range of downloadable content, each bringing new themes, challenges, and recipes. Among them, Surf ‘n’ Turf stands out with its vibrant beachside atmosphere and playful summer vacation vibes, featuring BBQ and smoothie recipes that reflect the tropical theme.
To emphasize these new features, I preserved the visual identity from the original main trailer but introduced key changes in color palette and transitions. To evoke the tropical, beachside setting, I used emerald ocean blues and incorporated wave-inspired shapes and animations. These elements help create a refreshing, immersive mood that aligns with the DLC’s spirited tone while maintaining consistency with the game’s branding.
