The story follows Adelaide Wilson (Nyong'o) and her family, who are attacked by a group of menacing doppelgängers, called the "Tethered".
Focused on the intertwined backstory of Adelaide and her doppelgänger, Red. Rather than broadly introducing the film’s plot, the sequence zooms in on their parallel lives — how they mirror each other, diverge, and ultimately collide.
